Values, expectations and needs of patients and citizens
The Foundation has experience in a research strand centered around getting to know values, expectations and needs of patients and citizens. This is acomplished both through quantitative methodologies (opinion surveys, Delphi analysis, etc.) as qualitative methodologies (exploratory, semi-structured or deep interviews, focus groups, discussion groups, citizens' juries, etc.)
The aims of this research strand are:
- Promoting the incorporation of values, expectations and needs of patients and needs and determining priorities of health policies.
- Propose and promote strategies, recommendations and action plans that can contribute to improving the quality of health care.
- Work with health professionals in the creation of new quality standards with more effective patient-centered interventions.
